The first half of 2020 prompted this industry to shift focus, change production methods and focus on new product categories while maintaining product responsibility integrity. This session with Nathan Cotter, Cheron Coleman, Kyle Earing, and Pierre Montaubin will identify lessons learned including how to identify minimum requirements for new factory or supplier relationships, minimum product testing and social responsibility requirements. This session will qualify as an elective for the Product Safety Awareness initiative and is as an elective for the Product Safety Awareness initiative.

Nathan Cotter

Vice President of Compliance, Hit Promotional Products, Inc.

Nathan Cotter is the vice president of compliance at Hit Promotional Products, Inc., ranked among the top 5 promotional product suppliers in the nation.  The compliance team at Hit is comprised of 5 full-time members responsible for product safety, regulatory compliance, and social responsibility throughout a diverse supply chain.  Nathan holds a BA from Monmouth College, is a member of PPAI’s Product Responsibility Action Group and also serves on the QCA Compliance Committee.  

Cheron Coleman

Vice President Product Development & Global Supply

Cheron Coleman is Vice President Product Development & Global Supply at alphabroder, one of the nation’s largest suppliers of soft-goods and hard-goods and the industry’s first true “One-Stop-Shop” for promotional products. At alphabroder she leads the soft-goods team responsible for global sourcing, corporate compliance, production management, quality, and international logistics for alphabroders’ Private Brand enterprise. With more than 15 years in the Promotional Products Industry, Cheron is known for her passion and commitment to developing global procurement strategies, driving revenue, relationship building, corporate social responsibility, and international logistics. She holds a BS from the University of Pittsburgh.

Kyle Earing

Director of Quality and Operations, Blink Marketing, Inc.

Kyle Earing is the director of quality and operations at Blink Marketing, Inc. in Franklin, Tennessee. In his role, Kyle works to enhance the quality program at Blink Marketing and establish key partnerships within the supply chain to ensure quality, conformance and performance for their client’s products.    Kyle has over a decade of experience working within the quality and the promotional products arena. Kyle is a certified FSSC 22000 lead auditor. Under Kyle’s leadership, Blink Marketing achieved a significant accomplishment by recently becoming Mar’s Global’s highest rated premium and promotional products supplier.  

Pierre Montaubin

Vice President Product Management and Sourcing

Pierre Montaubin, vice president product management and sourcing with BIC Graphic North America, is an 11-year veteran of the promotional products industry. In his current position, Pierre oversees a team focused on high-impact strategic innovations, quality and vendor partnerships. He is also responsible for continuous improvement efforts in-line with BIC Graphic’s commitment to superior compliance, safety and responsible sourcing. Pierre earned his B.A. in math and physics and a masters in management from the Business School of Reims, France. He started his career with roles in sales, finance and project management with Champagne Pommery, Unilog and Neuf Telecom before joining BIC in 2004 in France. In 2009, Pierre relocated to Hong Kong to take the position of sourcing director for BIC Graphic Asia. After acting as the general manager for BIC Graphic Asia-Pacific from 2014 to 2017, he moved to the U.S. to lead global support services before taking on his current role. In his spare time Pierre likes to discover different parts of the US with his family now that they live in Florida. He is also an avid wine and food aficionado always ready to discover new eating venues or wines from around the world.
