Godin, the founder of altMBA.com, was recently inducted into the Direct Marketing Hall of Fame, one of three chosen for this honor in 2013. His latest book, What To Do When It's Your Turn (And It's Always Your Turn), uses new ideas in format and distribution to challenge people to step up and do work that matters.
Before his work as a writer and blogger, Godin was vice president of direct marketing at Yahoo!, a job he got after selling them his pioneering 1990s online startup, Yoyodyne.
